The University of Rabat transfers its innovations to industrialists

Once again, the International University of Rabat (UIR) has just proven that only R&D is the key to innovation. Indeed, the national leader in research with more than 150 patents has just sealed a strategic partnership with two Spanish companies, Lenium World and Trackers FEINA, to co-develop a Solar Tracker “Made in Morocco”, a first in Morocco. This partnership is based on the pooling by both parties of their intellectual property portfolio, their efforts and their respective know-how for better industrial integration. And that’s not all since this university has also signed its first technology license concession to a national company, in this case the company “Ateliers Industriels Chérifiens” – AIC, a subsidiary of the Delta Holding Group. “The technology concerns the manufacture of intelligent road traffic signs,” explains Mohsine Bouya, director of valorization at the UIR.
